AHD stands for Analogue High Definition, AHD cameras use coax cable (Centrad’s Plug ‘n’ Play cables) to transmit HD video footage from the camera to the DVR. AHD supports 720P and 1080P HD video resolutions.

The new HD analogue technology allows you to record megapixel resolution using analogue components, resulting in 720P HD resolution from an analogue system. AHD cameras come in a wide variety of styles, making them easy to fit to most locations on your vehicles, choose from internal and external, audio and infrared.

Centrad’s low distraction driver display is fully configurable. As well as having the ability to display all cameras on the vehicle simultaneously or cycling through preset cameras in full screen mode, it has the added option of automatically showing blind spot cameras when the vehicle is turning either left or right as well as the rear camera when the vehicle is reversing, making maneuvering of vehicles much easier, safer and less stressful for the driver.
